Mountainfilm on Tour Southampton returns to SAC for the sixth consecutive year, using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. For the first time we will show the inspiring short films outdoors for free.
Mountainfilm on Tour
After the festival, Mountainfilm on Tour hits the road, sharing the year’s most inspiring short films with communities around the world. Mountainfilm on Tour shows are hosted by a wide array of organizations, including outdoor retailers, schools and universities, corporations, environmental groups, theaters, local governments and individuals, all using it as an opportunity to create awareness and engage with their communities. Mountainfilm has been on tour since 1999 — it’s our way of extending the festival’s reach and delivering inspiring content to global audiences.

All outdoor films are FREE and begin at sunset. Bring chairs, blankets, and picnics!

COVID-19 – What to Expect: There will be no restrooms available for use during outdoor programs. Attendees are expected to wear masks when less than 6 feet away from others, and to place themselves at the orange markers which will be installed every 10 feet on the grounds in order to enforce social distancing guidelines.
