Spirit’s Promise Equine Rescue have partnered with DXA Studios and are now offering parents the flexibility to create their own community based micro-school or learning pod, available every Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The learning pod will feature small groups of less than 20 children who will be instructed by a high quality youth development staff member and students will meet for social interaction and academic learning.
A safe learning space is provided and features large quiet rooms where children are spaced out at least six feet part. High speed internet is available and staff will provide daily instruction, activities and lessons based on the students school work and distance learning curriculum.
Spirit’s Promise Rescue promises to:
*Follow all CDC guidelines to ensure your child’s safety
*Mask breaks for the kids will be provided when children are working independently
*Staff will reinforce the important of good hygiene including frequent hand-washing and social distancing
*Staff will monitor distance learning, independent reading and quiet activities
*Students will enjoy farm-themed activities when their work is completed
Parents, are responsible for the following rules & regulations:
*Children must be sent to school with lunch, drinks and snacks. No sharing is allowed.
*Must supply laptop/Chrome Books and school provided assignments
*Children must have a mask to wear when people move throughout the classroom and when visiting the farm
*Children must be able to work independently
*Immunizations required – no exceptions
*Students must feel well, exhibit no symptoms of COVID-19 nor can they have contact with anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19.
For cost members is $30 per day for members and $40 per day for non-members. The group of friends or school mates must be arranged by the family and the program is currently in high demand. To find out more, please call us directly at 631-875-0433.
