Saturday January 1, 2022, 10 AM. New Year’s Day in Hither Woods, Montauk (8 miles)
New Year’s Day 2022 conveniently falls on a Saturday, so trundle along with some fellow hikers in Montauk’s always spectacular Hither Woods. We will hike a clockwise circuit featuring the challenging Serpent’s Back Trail, as well as the Old North Road and Laurel Canyon Trail. We will pass historic Split Rock and the Devil’s Cradle on our return. Meet 10:00 AM at the Hither Hills Overlook parking lot, north side of Montauk Highway (Route 27), Montauk.
