Butterflies get lots of attention, but their nocturnal cousins are often overlooked despite the fact that they are considerably more abundant and diverse. In the northeastern United States, 2500+ moth species offer an amazing array of shapes, colors, patterns and sizes to anyone who takes the time to give them a closer look. Jill Dodds is a biologist and nature photographer from New Jersey who has spent the last few years focusing her lens on moths from a variety of habitats in her home state. Join her to view some of these beautiful creatures and learn what you might find in your own back yard.
