Saturday, June 14, 2025. NO KINGS DAY !
11 AM to 1 PM
East Hampton Town Hall
East Hampton’s Indivisible Group, People for Democracy, will host a public event on Saturday, June 14 in front of East Hampton Town Hall from 11 AM to 1 PM. Along with millions across the country, join your neighbors and support our democracy, rule of law and the Constitution. America does not have a King! June 14 is Flag Day and it is also the 250th Anniversary of the founding of America's armed forces. We will gather outdoors near the parking lot to hand out American flags and to share protest signs. The event also includes an Open Mic --giving local residents a chance to speak about their own experiences and concerns due to recent service cuts that impact our veterans, the environment, migrants, health care, research, National Parks, the Arts, and more. Then we will stand along Pantigo Road in front of Town Hall, for a Honk and Wave for Democracy. Join us in peaceful, nonpartisan action! Parking is available in the lot behind Town Hall. This is an open-air event with no public facilities. You may sign up at mobilize.us.
