Older students expand their vocabulary and technique in contemporary and lyrical. Students will build upon their foundation of ballet and jazz techniques as well as the styles of Contemporary, a blend of jazz, modern, and lyrical that focuses on expressive movement, and Lyrical dance, a blend of ballet and jazz, which emphasizes the storytelling quality of music. Students can expect to experience self-expression through improv dance, strengthening during floor work and across the floor combinations!
