Conceptual artist Miles Jaffe uses Pop Art to mock the profit-driven Art Market and other aspects of economic disparities that affect artists and the value of their work. In his short video, Miles demonstrates some of the techniques and materials with which he produces his art. His work contemplates the relationship between artist, medium, and product – the very nature of art itself. According to Miles Jaffe, “It is a parody of parodies, which makes it a tribute as well, with no small irony.”
