Westhampton Beach Brewery Sponsors EEVB Beach Volleyball Leagues
Westhampton Beach Brewery located at Gabreski Airport will sponsor EEVB’s 2022 Thursday night league at Tiana Beach. They join Tuesday night sponsor Buckley’s’ Inn Between to provide great after play locations for EEVB players to gather and talk/celebrate their play each night. Both Westhampton Beach Brewery and Buckley’s Inn Between will offer after play specials for players plus an end of the season party.
The league, run by East End Volleyball, is entering its 35th season, and offers the following levels of play each night:
Tuesday: Coed 6s ranging from competitive to recreational
Wednesday: 4-player division and junior training clinic
Thursday: Coed 6s ranging from competitive to recreational
All leagues are sanctioned by AVP America, the largest outdoor grass organization in the US. Teams register online at AVPAmercia.com. Single players can also be placed on teams for Wednesday & Thursday nights.
Teams are assigned 3 to a net and play up to 6 games against the other teams on their court. Schedules are made up each week based on a team’s record insuring that teams play equal level competition every week. Prizes are awarded to the top 4 teams at the end of the season.
East End Volleyball leagues are set up to provide players with an opportunity to come to the beach once a week to apply beach volleyball and enjoy the beautiful scenery as the Town of Southampton’s Tiana Beach. Many nights the NY Marine Rescue Center releases rehabilitated sea turtles and seals. Leagues run from 6 pm until sunset, and the sunsets at the ocean are often spectacular.

East End Volleyball has been organizing beach volleyball tournaments for 46 years since 1977. Based in the East End of Long Island, EEVB has grown into the largest beach volleyball series in the East End of the country with tournaments along the East Coast. Sanctioned by AVP America, the grass roots organization of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, EEVB runs over 35 events for over 5,000 players annually.
