An introduction to lyrical ballet for newer dancers. Focus will be on basic ballet technique along with an introduction to the expressive style of Lyrical dance, a blend of ballet and jazz that emphasizes storytelling through movement . Students can expect center floor technique and movement warm up, across the floor exercises, and short dance phrases and combinations. Classes start Monday January 16th, 5:00-5:45pm, and run for 11 weeks with a break the week of February 20th.
