Our Fabulous Variety Show is teaming up with Project Most again this year to bring performing arts classes to performers of all ages in our community!
Intermediate Contemporary Lyrical Dance (ages 8+) runs every Monday through November 28th, 5:15-6:15pm.
This class will focus on contemporary and lyrical for both new and seasoned dancers. Students will learn the foundational ballet and jazz techniques as well as introduction to the styles of Contemporary, a blend of jazz, modern, and lyrical that focuses on expressive movement, and Lyrical dance, a blend of ballet and jazz, which emphasizes the storytelling quality of music. Students can expect technique and center floor movement warm up, across the floor exercises as well as short dance combinations.
