Join us for our first outdoor socially distanced CItizen Science Program. Students will have an opportunity to learn about the Peconic River Ecosystem. The instructor will lead them through a series of experiments that will help them understand the quality of the water and give them an opportunity to look at some of the macroinvertebrates that live there.
The students will meet the instructor by the river directly behind our building. The instructor will be wearing a Long Island Science Center lab coat. This class is weather dependent. If we are unable to run the class due to inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for the same time the following Monday. $12.00 per participating students, free for members!
Masks are required for all attendees.
