Celebrate the season with a morning of painting in the gardens, surrounded by blooming cherry blossoms, magnolias, and azaleas. Whether you're bringing your mom or coming solo, artist and educator Barbara Thomas will guide you through color mixing, floral painting techniques, and capturing the soft light of spring. Presented by LongHouse, these classes invite all experience levels to engage with the natural beauty of the gardens through creative expression. Materials are provided, though participants are welcome to bring their own. A lifelong artist with an MFA from the Art Institute of Boston, Barbara Thomas’s work spans painting, photography, video, and public art, all rooted in her deep connection to nature and over two decades of teaching experience.
