The historic Parson’s Blacksmith will open for the first time in years this Saturday, May 28, from 10.00am-2.00pm. Assemblyman Fred Thiele, Town Board members, and colleagues from associated organizations will be in attendance as local metalsmith James DeMartis puts on an exhibition of traditional blacksmithing skills.
Springs Historical Society, East Hampton Historical Farm Museum, East Hampton Historical Society, the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center, East Hampton Trails Preservation Society and many others have come together to make the reopening possible – including a generous donation by Sotheby’s International Realty.
We hope you can join us, to celebrate this part of our heritage and culture!
