Saturday November 11, 2023. Paumanok Path’s 25 th Anniversary Hikes: Hither Woods to Third House Museum, Montauk.
Day 5 of our six-weekend series covering the entire Path in East Hampton, from west to east. We are offering 3 Hikes per day - 9:30 early long (10 miles), 10:30 late long (10 miles), and 11:30 short (4 miles). The East Hampton Trails Preservation Society is providing bus transportation for these hikes.
Each hike is limited to 50 participants, and pre-registration is required. A suggested donation of $10 per person (each hike) is respectfully requested to defray the cost of bus transportation. Heavy rain may cause postponement to Sunday. To pre-register go to

9:30 AM - PAUMANOK PATH - HITHER WOODS TO THIRD HOUSE MUSEUM, ~ 6 MILES (early hike) Park at Montauk County Park, entrance on north side of Route 27 approx. 2,000 feet east of East Lake Drive. 11:30 AM - PAUMANOK PATH - INDIAN FIELD FROM THIRD HOUSE MUSEUM, ~3.5 MILES (short hike) This is an alternative shorter hike over part of the Paumanok Path. Park at Montauk County Park, entrance on north side of Route 27 approx. 2,000 feet east of East Lake Drive.
