The holidays can be an especially difficult time for those who are grieving. How can people picture their loss and their loved ones in painting? Joyce will lead an informal presentation about how she and famous artists express grief in art.
A discussion of Lee Krasner’s painting following Jackson Pollock's untimely death will be discussed, along with artists Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, and others. Each artwork serves as a springboard for discussion, and participants are welcome to share or observe.
