Kathy Engel is an poet, educator, activist, essayist and more. She is Chair and Associate Arts Professor at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Department of Art and Public Policy, and Masters Program in Arts Politics.
Her previous works include Ruth's Skirts; We Begin Here: Poems for Palestine and Lebanon, and other works.
She is co-founder of the Hayground School and longtime cultural worker involved with many human rights campaigns, locally, nationally and internationally.
