Our Director of Education Connor Flanagan will be giving his talk about legendary Southampton Village resident Pyrrhus Concer live on Zoom. Pyrrhus was born the son of two slaves and spent the first few years of his life living on the grounds of what is now the Rogers Memorial Library. Over time Pyrrhus gained his freedom, became a successful whaler and saw more of the world than many today ever get a chance to. Join us and learn the tales of one of Southampton’s greatest residents.
Those who wish to attend MUST register through our website at southamptonhistory.org/calendar to receive a password for access to the lecture via Zoom.
