Now through November 1st, Quogue Library will be collecting donations as part of The Great Give Back Day, an annual day of charity. This year, QL will be assisting the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation. We will be collecting dry pet food, pet supplies, blankets, and pet toy donations (no unsealed food or food requiring refrigeration and no fitted sheets) through November 1st in the donation box in the front of the library. The shelter also has a QR donation code, as well as an Amazon wish list for donations.
Our Great Give Back Day is on Saturday, October 14th, 2023, from 2 pm to 5 pm. Meet the pets your contributions will be helping who are waiting for adoption! Attendees will enjoy light refreshments and everyone is entered into a raffle basket drawing. In inclement weather, come inside to see the pets brought by the shelter. The Children's Department will be hosting two crafts: a simple, D.I.Y cat toy craft, and a pet treat craft.
