Join us for an afternoon of classical music featuring the works of Mozart, Chopin and Messiaen with Vietnamese-American pianist Quynh Nguyen. She has been praised as "a musical and expressive player" who is "sensitive and poetic” by the Boston Globe. Quynh will perform the world premiere of a new piano concerto written by composer Paul Chihara with the Vietnamese National Symphony Orchestra at the Hanoi Opera House in October. This performance will be in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Vietnam. Registration required.
