For parents and/or caregivers. Despite difficult circumstances and adversity, children can grow up to be strong. This workshop is designed to help parents/caregivers understand what it is that helps children grow up to be resilient. Participants will learn about risk and protective factors which influence resilience. The six major factors that help families build resilience will be defined and discussed. Participants will learn practical strategies for helping themselves and their children bounce back from whatever challenges they might encounter. Once you are registered you will receive an email with the Zoom link to access the program from home using a computer, tablet or smartphone device. Please note, a minimum of 5 patrons need to be registered in order for the virtual event to take place. We will notify patrons if we need to cancel due to this circumstance.
