This class will meet Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. starting January 27 through March 17.
In this ONLINE performance-based workshop taught by Director of Education and Community Outreach and Shakespeare veteran, Allen O'Reilly, participants will work on one scene from and one monologue from Shakespeare during the eight-week course. Previous experience with Shakespeare not required. Allen will guide the students through the principals of verse speaking, vocal production, and how to utilize Shakespeare's text to make strong acting choices, In addition, the course will provide background on Shakespeare's plays and how those works resonate in a contemporary context.
