The Southampton Town Disability Task Force (DAFT) is hosting the second Annual Disability Services Resource Fair on Saturday, November 1st from 12-3pm at the Hampton Bays Community Center located at 25 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays.
All are welcome to stop by to learn about community resources, connect with service providers, advocates, and support groups. There will be activities for kids throughout the day with the Southampton Town Youth Advisory Committee, an “Everyone Belongs in Southampton Town” art project, and presentations by Self-Initiated Living Options, Inc. (SILO) and NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). Representatives from state and local community organizations will be on hand to answer questions and share information about services and resources for people with disabilities. Additional accommodations include ADA-compliant building, accessible parking, S.C.A.T bus stop and quiet spaces.
