St. Ann’s Episcopal Church Jazz Mass
St Ann’s Episcopal Church on Main Street in Bridgehampton will have its annual Jazz Mass on Sunday, July 7, at 10 am. All are welcome and encouraged to attend this beautiful, always-popular service of joyful, rhythmic worship. The band, including Mike Gari on guitar, Eric Schugren on saxophone, Charles Clausen on trumpet, John Mele on drums, and Steve Shaughnessy on bass, will play Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, and John Coltrane. The choir will sing Bob Chilcott’s Little Jazz Mass, and all are encouraged to join in singing the hymns. A festive Hospitality Hour follows the service.
