STONY HILL, TO NANCY’S ROCK AND BACK (4-5 miles)
Plan on an enjoyable Fall stroll through the fields of Peconic Land Trust’s Deborah Ann Light Preserve and the woods of the Land Trust’s Silver Beech Preserve, to Nancy’s Rock and back. We’ll leave the fertile farm fields of North Amagansett before hiking onto the glacial moraine at Stony Hill. After a loop in Stony Hill, we’ll return the way we came. Meet 10:00 a.m. on road shoulder of Abraham’s Path, about 1/4 mile north of Town Lane, Amagansett. Moderate pace. Bring food & liquids.
