Join us for two weeks of adventures here at Sacred Hearts where we find God in everything we do. Each day will consist of activities to nurture your child’s curiosity and inspire their mind, body and spirit: including art, music, movement, dance, nature exploration, science, gardening, group projects, outdoor games and more.
9am to 12 Noon daily, ages 6-12
Program highlights for week one include:
MONDAY
On Monday we will have a visit from a local farmer to talk to us about different types of herbs. We will design a clay pot, do some planting and create some botanical prints! Campers will make some homemade herb butter that will be delicious on summer corn- yum!

TUESDAY
Tuesday will begin with a visit to the Basilica to pray the rosary with The Legion of Mary. We will then take a short nature walk and see what we can find- scavenger hunt style! We will then have our special guest, The Art Nanny lead campers in a fun, creative project.

WEDNESDAY
OCEAN AWARENESS DAY! Stewards of the Sea joins us for a fun and informative day about the ocean and water conservation. We will create a sculpture using marine debris and learn about how we can make a difference by rethinking our choices. Then we will head outside for some water games too!

THURSDAY
Campers will have the opportunity to work with a local Martial Arts specialist and practice some moves that are aimed to strengthen the mind and body. We will then learn about the art of sumi-e brushwork and paint on rice paper. Finally we will head to the kitchen and make some fresh and tasty fruit summer rolls!

FRIDAY
Friday wraps up with Mass in the morning. Then, Chef Jess will teach us how to make some local peach hand pies in the kitchen. We’ll also take a look at Cezanne’s still life paintings and create one of our own. We will then end our week with FAMILY FUN DAY featuring a visit with the animals and trainers from the SoFo Wildlife Rescue Center and a family barbecue lunch!
