Hallockville Museum Farm, 6038 Sound Ave., Riverhead, is hosting a presentation on the evolution of Long Island Farming as part of its farm-to-table workshop series, “Turning Back Thyme: A Taste of Hallockville.” Hallockville Program Director and Long Island farmer, Herbert Strobel, Ph.D., will lead the discussion about the history of local agriculture and guide participants through a hands-on home garden project. The fee to attend is $50 for Hallockville Museum Farm members and $65 for nonmembers.
