We’ll look at some of the most notable films and scenes in this category, and discuss their influence on culture and their representations of changing times and laws. The lecture will show how these films use themes of legal battles, court cases, crime and punishment, the criminal justice system, and the court cinematically as a setting for incredible storytelling.
