Join us for this virtual talk about the magnificent and endangered California Condor, the largest flying land bird in North America. Darren Gross, a wildlife biologist with Ventana Wildlife Society, will discuss the biology of these majestic birds, the threats to their survival and the strides that have been made toward their conservation and recovery. Ventana Wildlife Society is the only non-profit organization in California working with the California Condor Recovery Program to restore this species to the Big Sur region.
