The Music of Prohibition

Description:

Join us after-hours at our rumrunning exhibition, where Francine Whitney will tell us all about the music of the Prohibition era — its roots, its early development, and how it became a nationwide phenomenon. She will illustrate with photos and the fabulous music of the time.

After her talk, enjoy a beverage as you stroll through our interactive exhibition, HOW DRY WE WEREN’T: RUMRUNNING & MOONSHINE IN MONTAUK.
