THE TEEMING AUTUMN: A LIVE READING OF SHAKESPEARE SCENES, SONNETS, AND SOLILOQUIES

Description:

This event will be held outside and in person in Sag Harbor. Location will be provided at point of purchase.

Performers and attendees will be spaced out in a safe and social-distanced setting on a lawn.

"The Teeming Autumn," a live reading of some of Shakespeare's most famous scenes, sonnets, and soliloquies, will begin at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $200 per person and are available in PODS of two or four people, and include a boxed dinner by Calissa in Water Mill.

With performances by five actors from Bay Street’s stage, "The Teeming Autumn" highlights a compilation of scenes, sonnets, and soliloquies from the works of William Shakespeare that are reflective of the autumn season. The program for the evening includes selections from such tragedies as Macbeth and Hamlet; comedies such as Twelfth Night, As You Like It, and The Merchant of Venice; and histories such as Henry V and Richard II; in addition to Sonnet #73 and Sonnet #116. Performers include Director of Education Allen O’Reilly, professional theatre instructor and actor Teresa DeBerry, and actors Amanda Kristin Nichols and Xavier Pacheco.

• Face masks are required for entry and temperature will be taken.
• The gate will open at 4 p.m. Parties will be seated in a timely manner in PODS of two or four. There will be no reserved areas.
• This is a picnic-style event. Bring blankets and chairs, and dress accordingly.
• No restroom facilities will be available during the event.
