Ms. Nicol will share her story through a program that includes, images, samples of her work, a conversation with WACH Director Wendy Van Deusen. In addition, a curated collection of the artist's one-of-a-kind handbags will be available for sale on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19.
Karen Nicol is a master of the fine art of embroidery. Her creative and skillful use of needle and threads transcends embroidery as adornment into fully realized wearable art.
