Whether you are seeking relaxation, a space to heal and recharge, a safe space to share and be heard or a place to connect with others who get it, this retreat is for you.
We have secured a beautiful home i n Southhampton for September 14th. September in the Hamptons is absolutely beautiful, warm, peaceful and relaxing. Most locals have said that it's their most favorite month to be there.
Here's what you can expect from the day:
1. Tools and advice from people who have walked the talk to empower you to thrive despite a cancer diagnosis.
2. A visit from Ann Fonfa - The Pioneer of Thriving. Ann is an advocate for people with cancer since 1995. She is a force and is full of resources. She heads the annual Complementary & Alternative Cancer Therapies Conference each year.
3. Mindfulness Meditation and Gentle Yoga with Gena Bradshaw, founder of Holistic Human Performance and 2 time cancer survivor who shares her story and experiences with others in hopes to inspire them to enhance their well-being.
4. Therapeutic / lymphatic massage by Julia Khvasechko, MS, LMT, RYT, HHPC, who is also a cancer survivor, overcame incredible odds and now finds purpose in giving back to the community by spreading hope and inspiring others who are still on their cancer journeys. She believes that the choices that we make daily determine the outcome of our lives far more than genetics and shares this message through her own inspiring story. 5. Nutritious and Healthy Food prepared by Isabel Tonelli, our very own private chef who will also talk a bit about nutrition and healthy eating practices to enable us to thrive. Isabel is a holistic chef who studied at The Art Institute and The Natural Gourmet Institute, a certified Integrative Nutrition Institute health coach, a 500 hr yoga instructor with a special training in restorative yoga and a Chopra Center meditation teacher.
Isabel is passionate about teaching people how by preparing and eating delicious anti-inflammatory foods one can prevent and sometimes reverse disease and how yoga movement, breath and meditation can contribute to overall health.
6.Participate in intimate circles to connect and discuss topics that only us going through cancer truly get and understand - conversation and connection, forming lasting friendships and a supportive network of individuals who understand the journey.
7. Beach Excursion: We will take a nature walk and do a fun activity and end the day watching a beautiful sunset with sound energy therapy.
