Mark Joseph Williams, a forensic psychological clinician, presents his new memoir, Torrent of Grace: a Catholic Survivor's Healing Journey after Clergy Abuse. Williams shares his personal story of spiraling into substance abuse and shame in the aftermath of trauma. Yet he finds new life within the church, beyond the clergy abuse, and through the sacraments and way of the cross.
Williams is co-founder of Global Collaborative, a survivor led organization. He serves on the North American Safeguarding Committee of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.
