Trails Maintenance Tuesday, June 14, in Springs with EHTPS!
This week we're going to try an area in Springs that we haven't visited much in the past. The Hog Creek Preserve, also known as Springs Woodblock Preserve depending on which map you're looking at (!), needs some attention. So, be ready for a new adventure with a great group of people!
We'll meet at 8:30 AM (NOTE the early start time) in Springs on Talmage Farm Ln off Springs Fireplace Road. To get there, take Springs Fireplace Road north past Ashawagh Hall, then turn left on Talmage Farm Ln and go a little more than half a mile. Please bring loppers, clippers, hand saws, hedge pruners and any other equipment you're willing to carry. Also, ticks are out in force, so we suggest you bring some repellent. A fully charged cell phone is a necessity since this is how we will find you if the group splits up. And, of course, some water might be worthwhile.
