Hallockville Museum Farm, 6038 Sound Ave., Riverhead, will offer a workshop on Ethnic & Vegetarian Food preparation as part of its farm-to-table workshop series, “Turning Back Thyme: A Taste of Hallockville.” Historian, community gardener and home cook Susan Babkes will present the customs and flavors of North Fork, Long Island immigrant groups and lead participants in the preparation of traditional Irish and eastern European dishes. The workshop will be held Sat., March 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hallockville Museum Farm. The fee to attend is $50 for Hallockville members and $65 for nonmembers.
