This live Zoom tour takes visitors on a virtual road trip from Jackson Pollock’s barn studio in East Hampton, New York, to the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver, Colorado. Shortly before Pollock’s death, he and fellow artist, Clyfford Still, planned a road trip heading West. The trip was never realized as Pollock died suddenly in a car accident. Celebrate the friendship and work of these two pioneering artists. Still is best known for his massive abstract paintings made with bold streaks of color and Pollock for his ground- breaking drip paintings. Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator, will guide visitors through the Pollock-Krasner studio, followed by a presentation with Kendra Keenan, Educator/Group Tour Coordinator, at the Clyfford Still Museum.
