VIRTUAL TOUR: CREATIVE EXCHANGES, Artists in Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner's Address Books
Join co-curators James Bauer and Theresa Davis for a live virtual tour and presentation of the current exhibition on view at the Pollock-Krasner House. In the days before smartphones, people hand wrote contact information in phone books. Three such books belonging to Pollock and Krasner will be on view, together with more than twenty works by artists whose names, addresses, and telephone numbers appear in them, including Thomas Hart Benton, James Brooks, Helen Frankenthaler, Adolph Gottlieb, John Graham, Paul Jenkins, Reuben Kadish, John Little, Mercedes Matter, Barnett Newman, Alfonso Ossorio, Betty Parsons, Charles Pollock and Mark Rothko.
