The Water Mill Museum dates back to 1644, with a rich history of being the oldest restored working water-powered grist mill in the United States. We have exhibits of local historic artifacts, section of the Water Mill Post Office, Whaling, Fishing, and Uncle Fred’s Workshop.
Visit our Art Gallery exhibiting artists fine art and sculpture for sale that benefits the artists and Water Mill Museum. The public is invited to attend the artists opening receptions. Attend our Annual Quilt Show and Sale featuring colorful quilts with different patterns and themes in all sizes on display and for purchase. We end the season with a fundraiser sponsored by the Clay Art Guild of the Hamptons and our Annual Quilt Raffle Drawing.
The museum is open daily from 11am to 4pm, Sundays 1pm to 4pm, closed Mondays through Wednesdays, and July 4th.
