Walking Dunes Hike with EHTPS Thursday October 19 at 10 AM. (1 mile)
Explore the famous Walking Dunes an easy 3/4 of a mile loop, of numbered trail markers on a sandy trail with one small hill to climb the tallest dune. Learn how the dunes were created, locate the cranberry bog and the “phantom” forest. Meet at the Walking Dunes kiosk at the end of Napeague Harbor Road off of Route 27, Amagansett.
