Sunday Worship:
To Be a Pilgrim
Sunday, August 17th 10:30am
The Rev. Ned Wight returns to our pulpit on 8/17 with a sermon entitled "To Be a Pilgrim." Pilgrimage is an ancient human activity, part of many world religious and cultural traditions. Rev. Ned will share insights from pilgrimages he has undertaken in his own life, including The Living Legacy Pilgrimage to notable civil rights places in the U.S. South. Why do we make pilgrimages? How do we prepare and what do we hope will happen to us as pilgrims. Come join Rev. Ned on this journey of discovery.
Before retirement, the Rev Ned Wight, served as the interim minister at the UU Congregation in Shelter Rock at the other end of Long Island.
