Accepting the Blessings
Life on earth is filled with blessings and abundance that cannot be earned. Yet the fear of losing those gifts, blessings, and privileges often leads to attempts to control the world. How, instead, might we enter into relationships of reciprocity through which we can express our gratitude, deepen in connection, and release our need to control? In this sermon, UU minister Ariel Aaronson-Eves will explore the role of ritual in helping to accept life's blessings.

Speaker bio: Raised UU in New Jersey, Ariel Aaronson-Eves attended Star King School for the Ministry. She moved to Maine in 2019 to do her parish internship with the UU congregations in Castine, Ellsworth, and Belfast. Ariel graduated from seminary this past May and was just welcomed into Preliminary Fellowship with the Unitarian Universalist Association. She expects to be ordained in August.
