Why is it often easier to offer patience, politeness, and grace to a stranger than to those we love the most? In this service, we’ll explore the paradox of how familiarity can sometimes dull our compassion, and how our Unitarian Universalist values call us to practice love and kindness not just outwardly, but inwardly—in our homes, our families, and closest relationships. Together we’ll reflect on the spiritual challenge of bringing our best selves to those who know us best.
