Musician Bios:
Jessica Tortorice, a native of Southampton, NY, is widely regarded as a versatile violinist, both as orchestral player and chamber musician. She studied at the Juilliard School Pre-college division, the Royal College of Music in London for undergraduate performance studies, and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, where she obtained her masters degree in performance.
Pieter Jansen began violin classes at the age of 7 with Koen Rens at the Academy of Music of Turnhout. He continued his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Guido De Neve. He was conferred a Master’s degree summa cum laude. In January 2006, he was awarded the ‘Oranjebeurs’ scholarship.
