How do our words reframe our spirituality? What does our choice of words say about what we want to bring into the world? How can we be more conscientious about language and the use of words to create spaces of human flourishing, and how are words used as a tool for reflecting on our reality?

Speaker Bio: Rev. Valerie Freseman serves the First Universalist Church of Southold. She graduated from Union Theological Seminary in 2014 and has served congregations in Ohio, NJ, and New York. She was a chaplain-resident at Saint Francis Hospital Center in Hartford, CT in 2016-2017. She is currently studying spiritual direction through Cherry Hill seminary's certificate program.
