At a time when empathy is significantly devalued in some quarters, Rev. Ned Wight will offer a different perspective in his sermon "Embracing the Possibility of Empathy." Drawing on the narratives and observations of ministerial colleague Nate Walker in his book Cultivating Empathy, Rev. Ned explores what empathy is, what role it may play in enhancing our personal and collective lives, and why it is especially resonant with Unitarian Universalist theology and values. Rev. Ned looks forward to an engaging service.
