Remembrance
Inspired by observances found in different cultures, our service will be one of celebration and remembrance, emphasizing the interconnectedness of life and death.
Together we will create an altar or shrine of remembrance. Please bring photographs or mementos or other objects to place on our altar to honor your loved ones who have died. There will be ample time in our service for sharing stories about our late loved ones. The first portion of the service will be multigenerational. The UUCSF children and youth and their families will be invited to share their remembrances before leaving for childcare if they choose.
