A car was submerged in the water after the driver veered off West Neck Road in North Sea and into Bullhead Bay Wednesday morning.
According to Southampton Town Police Lieutenant Susan Ralph, the driver, Jeff Bradley, was able to remove himself from his white Range Rover and get out of the water. He immediately called police.
Mr. Bradley was being evaluated by an ambulance crew, but “he is okay,” Lt. Ralph said, adding that police were working on removing the car from the water. Rapid Recovery towing was also on scene.
Further information was not immediately available, including the cause of the accident or Mr. Bradley’s age.
