East End Restaurants Offer Thanksgiving Dining And Take-Out For 2017

Many East End dining spots are making it easy to skip the cooking part of Thanksgiving and get straight to the best part of the holiday: the eating.

Prix fixes, buffets and take-out are available from a variety of restaurants and caterers offering turkey and all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings—and some not-so-traditional options.

Coast Kitchen at The Montauk Yacht Club (631-668-3100, montaukyachtclub.com) will have a special buffet on Thanksgiving from noon to 6 p.m. The buffet will feature Thanksgiving favorites, showcasing seasonal ingredients. Cost is $39.95 for adults, $15.95 for children and kids 6 and under are free.

The 1770 House in East Hampton (1770house.com, 631-324-1770) will present a Thanksgiving feast by Executive Chef Michael Rozzi with wine selections by Wine Director Michael Cohen. From 2 to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, a three-course, prix-fixe meal is $95 per person with a $40 two-course option for guests 12 years old and younger. Beverage, tax and gratuity are additional.

Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor (631-725-0900, lulusagharbor.com) will serve on Thanksgiving from noon to 9 p.m. and reservations are recommended. The a la carte dinner menu will be available as well as a special traditional Thanksgiving plate featuring turkey breast and leg, cranberry sauce, stuffing, sweet potato, Brussels sprouts and gravy for $38.95.

Pierre’s in Bridgehampton (631-537-5110, pierresbridgehampton.com) will be open for Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with an a la carte menu. Pierre’s Traditional Thanksgiving Turkey for $38 includes organic chicken and pork stuffing with chestnuts and Alsatian spice bread, glazed sweet potato, braised Brussels sprouts and cranberry Cumberland dressing. A kid’s portion is $19. Call to make reservations.

Tutto il Giorno in Southampton (631-377-3611) will serve from noon to 9 p.m. Call for reservations and special menus.

Seasons of Southampton (631-283-3354, seasonsofsouthampton.com) is having a buffet with all the traditional favorites. The cost is $39.95 for adults and $19.95 for children. Also, a dinner package that accommodates up to eight people is $349 to stay or to go. Call for more details.

Southampton Publick House, now on Jobs Lane, (631-283-2800, publick.com) is offering a three-course prix fixe dinner from 1 to 7 p.m. for $29.95 per person. For children 10 and under, a two-course turkey dinner and dessert menu is $14.95.

The Inn Spot on the Bay in Hampton Bays (631-728-1200, theinnspot.com) will serve a three-course prix fixe dinner for $40 per person. For children 12 and under, a two-course dinner is $25. Reservations are required.

Sydney’s “Taylor” Made Cuisine in Westhampton Beach (631-288-4722, sydneysgourmet.com) is offering full Thanksgiving dinners, available for pickup on Thanksgiving between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Meals for two people and up. Order ahead.

Buoy One, located in East Hampton (631-527-7557), Westhampton (631-998-3808), Riverhead (631-208-9737) and Mattituck (631-315-5405) is now taking pre-orders for Thanksgiving Eve, with options such as ready-to-serve medium shrimp cocktail platters. Visit buoyone.com for more options.

Birchwood of Polishtown in Riverhead (631-727-4449, thebirchwoodofpolishtown.com) will serve a grand Thanksgiving dinner buffet with a deluxe carving station with roasted turkey, roasted prime rib and stuffed loin of pork. Seatings are between noon and 7 p.m. Each seating is limited to two hours. The cost is $39.95, or $18.95 for children ages 4 to 12, plus tax and 20 percent gratuity.

Maple Tree in Riverhead (631-727-2819, mapletreebbq.com) is offering a catering menu for pick-up only, including turkey meals available before Thanksgiving with reheat instructions. Orders must be placed 72 hours in advance, with a 50 percent deposit. A 12- to 15-pound smoked or roasted turkey is $125 for the bird only, or $215 for the bird with stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and dinner rolls or cornbread plus a choice of two sides.

Mustard Seed Café in Center Moriches (631-400-9222, morichesmustardseed.com) is planning a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for pickup on the morning of the holiday. Call to reserve dinner and fixings.

Modern Snack Bar in Aquebogue (631-722-3655, modernsnackbar.com) is offering sides and pies for Thanksgiving. The last day to place an order is Sunday, November 19.
