Almond’s 25th Annual Christmas Eve Suckling Pig Roast

For a festive feast with a charitable twist, Almond Restaurant in Bridgehampton is marking its 25th annual Christmas Eve suckling pig roast this December 24. Priced at $49, the traditional roast comes with seasonal accompaniments, and a portion of the evening’s proceeds will support OLA of Eastern Long Island, a nonprofit Latino advocacy organization serving the five East End towns. Guests can also enjoy Almond’s regular à la carte menu while soaking in the warm, welcoming bistro atmosphere.

Hours for Christmas Eve are 5 to 9 p.m.; Almond will be closed on Christmas Day. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 631-537-5665. The restaurant is located at 1 Ocean Road, Bridgehampton, and more information is available at almondrestaurant.com.

A Festive Feast: Breakfast With Santa at The Hampton Maid

The Hampton Maid in Hampton Bays will celebrate the season with its annual Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 14, offering a hearty holiday prix fixe menu from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Santa will visit with families and pose for pictures between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and each child will receive a gift to take home.

The menu includes a wide range of elevated breakfast favorites, from traditional eggs Benedict and slow-roasted corned beef hash to seasonal dishes like the Harvest omelet with roasted acorn squash and goat cheese. Sweet options include cinnamon bun pancakes, lemon ricotta pancakes, and cinnamon brioche French toast topped with caramelized bananas. Guests will also find savory choices such as shakshuka, a fajita omelet with hanger steak, and the indulgent breakfast burger made with house-ground beef and chorizo. Coffee and tea are included, and specialty holiday cocktails — the Grinch Mimosa and Candy Cane Lane — will also be available.

Breakfast is $55 for adults and $25 for children, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Heart of the Hamptons. Parents are welcome to take their own photos.

Crispy Taco Co. Launches Daily Happy Hour in Southampton

Crispy Taco Co. in Southampton is now offering a daily Happy Hour from noon to 6 p.m., featuring food and drink specials designed to draw in the midday crowd. Guests can choose from $7 chicken, pork, shrimp, or veggie tacos, along with cheese quesadillas and chips with guacamole at the same price point.

Drink specials include $6 draft and bottled wine and $8 house specialty margaritas, available for dine-in customers only.

FĒNIKS in Southampton to Serve an Elevated Feast of Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve

FĒNIKS, the newest restaurant from veteran chef and restaurateur Douglas Gulija, will offer a luxurious Taste of Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, December 24. The special multi-course menu will be served during a single seating between 6 and 6:30 p.m., priced at $150 per person plus tax and gratuity.

The experience opens with Montauk Pearl oysters topped with vodka crème fraîche and Siberian caviar, followed by Catsmo smoked salmon with celery root rémoulade. Guests will also enjoy yellowfin tuna tartare and jumbo lump crabmeat paired with avocado-wasabi mash; seared local calamari with piquillo peppers and hummus; and steamed local black sea bass served with udon noodles in a ginger-lemongrass broth.

The menu continues with a grilled lobster-red shrimp sausage over braised cabbage and lobster sauce, a rich pumpkin lobster bisque with butter-poached lobster, and sautéed local striped bass accompanied by chorizo and local clams.

Art of Eating Rolls Out Holiday Catering-To-Go Menu

Art of Eating in Bridgehampton has opened preorders for its annual holiday catering to-go menu, featuring a wide range of seasonal dishes, party appetizers, entrées, and desserts. Orders for Christmas Eve pickup must be placed by Friday, December 19, with pickup on Wednesday, December 24. New Year’s Eve orders are due Sunday, December 28, for pickup Wednesday, December 31.

This year’s offerings include crowd-pleasing starters such as creamy roasted shallot dip, pigs in a blanket, house-dried figs in a blanket with chèvre, classic shrimp cocktail (40 pieces), and corn and lobster chowder packed with lobster meat. Entrée selections range from slow-roasted Berkshire ham with a honey–thyme pear glaze and true turkey breast confit with giblet gravy to roasted organic salmon with BBQ peach glaze and red onion marmalade.

Seasonal baked goods and dessert options include Irish soda bread blueberry–caraway scones, a flourless chocolate ganache soufflé cake, sweet and salty pistachio brittle, and big coconut macaroons.

L & W Market Offers Hanukkah To-Go Specials

Bridgehampton’s L & W Market is serving up Hanukkah favorites to-go.
