Watermill Center’s Artists’ Table Pairs Art and Locally Sourced Cuisine

The Watermill Center will host its next Artists’ Table event on Saturday, October 11, at noon, featuring Puerto Rican artist Natalia Lassalle-Morillo.

Part of the center’s year-round brunch and dinner series, Artists’ Table invites guests to connect with international artists through intimate presentations, followed by a chef-prepared meal spotlighting locally sourced ingredients.

Lassalle-Morillo’s work, created in collaboration with nonprofessional performers and researchers, examines memory, history, and Caribbean collective identity through performance, film, and installation. Her current project, “En Parábola/Conversations on Tragedy,” reimagines the myth of Antigone through the lived experiences of Puerto Ricans in New York and across the archipelago.

The event is presented in partnership with Abrons Arts Center. Seating is limited and reservations are required.
